Students’ Social Security #’s and personal data posted on internet
The entire 2nd Grade, as well as any student that took the ACT last year in Williamson County, TN has had their personal data posted on the Internet. It was a ‘project’ of a graduate student for the local college, where he placed the data on a portable flash drive, and posted it to the Internet.
Over 10,000 students were affected, half of them being children.

Social Security numbers and other personal information were posted on the Internet. Students possibly affected to about 5,000 children.
A school representative said that all second-graders were affected as well as anyone who took the ACT test last year.
The representative said that another 10,000 students had their names and test scores placed on the Internet.
