Auto Repair owner steals customer’s identities

July 7, 2008

In Norfolk, VA,  Charles E. Perry Jr. is the owner of three auto-repair shops. He has also been stealing his customer’s identities, and now is a federal criminal that will spend 10 years in prison .

One of my questions throughout these postings is always, “Who can you trust with your information?”

The owner of three auto repair businesses in Virginia will spend 10 years in federal prison for stealing his customers’ identities and fraudulently obtaining more than $600,000.

According to court records, the 46-year-old Perry used his customers’ names to apply for credit cards and business cash advances.
