However, there different types of ID Theft -
- Financial
- Drivers License
- Social Security
- Medical
- Criminal and Character Identity Theft.
I wish to educate everyone about every type by providing the articles around the media on what is happening already with ID Theft.

ID theft pays… that’s why it’s an epidemic… the CRA’s love it, they get paid to put things on your report and s/s number and they get paid to take it off… I’ve been fighting id theft for about 10 years. It’s ruined my credit, kept me from getting jobs and getting business start up loans.
And don’t be fooled, there is no help; after 3 lawyers and worse than no results, I believe you are on your own. The last lawyer I went to took $1,400 to ’start’ my case.. after months of esstentially doing his job for him, with records and paperwork… I came up on the radar for more creditors than ever to harrass me with phone calls, nasty letters and more items on my CRAs. After years of telling the CRA’s that the information is wrong, I have a large stack of form letters telling me there is nothing that can be done because they don’t have enough information. I”ve given birth certificates, military ID, driver’s licenses, job verifications, tax returns, SS number – all to no avail… I have been offered to have things removed at thousand of dollars per item… The penalty is so slight that in actualilty it can be considered part of the cost of doing business. read how a man with 35 years of stealing might get 2-5 years if convicted…

and remember, the felon gets about 1/3 off his sentence for good behaviour. So really, it’s about a 3 year sentence for about 35 consecutive years of a crime … In the meantime, the damage from ID theft is not forgiven for the victim… Once your id is stloen, the financial impact is so devastating no one wants to help because there’s no money in it for them… you’re not even allowed a job to help pay your way out…sorry about your luck… next!
